YORK'S LEADING FABRIC SHOP

Sew a Jersey Top Workshop

£90.00

Agnes Top

During this workshop you will make a Tilly and the Buttons Agnes Top. This is a jersey top that can be sewn up on a regular sewing machine.  It is a versatile wardrobe stable that you will want to make over and over again.
This is a lovely ultra comfy jersey top.  This pattern is suitable for a confident beginner sewer or anyone who is able to sew a straight stitch.
The top has a close fitting silhouette, a choice of a scoop neckline or a ruched sweetheart neckline, both finished with a narrow neckband.  You also have a choice of 2 of sleeve lengths - a full length or cropped above the elbow option and optional on-trend ruching at the shoulders.
The pattern suggests using a light- to medium-weight stretch knit fabrics, such as cotton jersey, viscose jersey or wool jersey. Check the fabric can be stretched crosswise at least 25% wider than its original width, and that it pings back down to size after stretching.
