from 52 reviewsThis stretch cotton fabric is ideal for making trousers. Easy to work with and surprisingly difficult to find such a nice quality of fabric with just that small amount of stretch that is perfect for comfortable and fairly casual trousers.

I needed medium weight black cotton/linen fabric to use as the main fabric to embroider a jewelry roll and this was perfect for the job. Soft but with enough weight to give it substance.

I love sparkle yarn it makes my projects look so much better.

I like the colour and the gold print of the polka dots

Excellent pattern easy to follow and make. Such an adorable little animal.

It ihas three projects which as the author writes it takes the reader from absolute begginrr to a competent crocheter. Plus it has a bonus project at the end. The language is easy to read.
Overall a very good introduction to crochet. I am looking forward to trying the projects.

I have never sewn before and had no idea if I would be able to produce anything but at the end of week one I took home something that got significant appreciation from my family.
The small gorup and very friendly tutor ) the other staff are lovely as well) made it really relaxing and not daunting to ask questions and make mistakes.
Will definatley be doing a follow up.

Good quality fabric and beautiful bold colour

After the first session, I went home with a beautiful cushion that I had made. The sessions are crammed with useful information about sewing machines, patterns, fabric and the tools you use for sewing. I was left feeling confident that I could start sewing on my own. These are great hands-on sessions in a lovely fabric shop.

I had a lovely morning learning a new type of crochet with three wonderful ladies. It was so nice to be taught and a casual pace with no pressure, and just have company while we all crafted! Definitely recommend and I will be back :)

Visiting York and had pre ordered hoop. First time in shop but delighted with service. Also bought some material and a few other bits and bobs. It's down the tiny lane where Barley Hall is so you need to search for it. Will definitely recommend and visit again next time I am in York. They do online orders as well.

I would recommend anyone to come along to this course. Made a cushion cover and pajama bottoms both of which are now in use. 🙂I am now dusting off the old sewing machine & searching out some easy patterns to sew.

With my eye sight the light on this makes things a lot easier!

I stumbled upon this cute shop by chance, just coming out of the museum in the courtyard and I had a lovely time browsing…. And picking up a skein of yarn I had been wanting to try for a long time! Excellent service too!
