Shipping policy

Sewcialising’s standard shipping method is by Royal Mail Post and our flat rate UK shipping cost is £3.00 per item for Second Class Delivery and £3.50 for First Class Delivery. Once the order exceeds 1 item, there is an additional small fee per item. Orders over the value of £80 qualify for free shipping within UK mainland. Should customers prefer faster shipping methods, please do not hesitate to contact us as this can be arranged.

All orders are packaged in tissue paper and then posted in a cardboard postage box if the order is not too large. Larger orders get sent out in brown paper or a plastic envelope. We like to think of the environment where possible. The cardboard boxes should protect your goods enough during shipping.

If your order is larger than a standard Royal Mail measurement, we will use a courier. We use different couriers depending on the best rate.

During normal times, we aim to ship your goods on the same day they come in. During corona/lockdown periods, we post orders out 2-3 times per week. Local pick up is also available through the Click and Collect option at the checkout. Once an order is placed, Sewcialising will email the customer to organise a suitable time for collection of the goods.

We keep proof of postage for all items sent but we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in the post.

European and International Shipping

Sewcialising also ship abroad using the Royal Mail International Tracked Shipping.  For International orders, we have a flat rate fee of £15 per item.

If an order is very heavy, Sewcialising has the right to cancel the order if the postage cost is much higher than the postage charged.
