Step into the world of patchwork with Sewcialising’s Learn Patchwork class - a relaxed and welcoming introduction designed to help you get started with confidence. Want to get into patchwork but don’t know where to start? This session is here to guide you through the basics in a friendly, supportive way.

Together, we’ll cover the essentials, from getting to know your tools and choosing fabrics you love, to cutting with confidence and stitching everything together. You’ll pick up plenty of helpful tips along the way to make sewing feel simpler and more enjoyable right from the start.

This is a true beginner starter session, designed to give you a solid foundation in patchwork. Once you’ve completed this class, you’ll be ready to build on your skills by joining our Monthly Patchwork Block of the Month class, where you can continue learning new techniques and grow your confidence over time.

More than just a class, this is a chance to slow down, get creative, and connect with other likeminded people. There’s plenty of time to ask questions, try things out, and enjoy the process. By the end, you’ll have created your very first patchwork piece and have the skills and confidence to keep going at home.

This workshop is best suited to those who already have a basic understanding of sewing and feel comfortable using a sewing machine. If you’re completely new, we’d recommend starting with one of our beginner sewing courses or booking a private lesson first.

What to bring:
You will need at least 2–3 coordinating fabrics for your project. Feel free to bring your own, or you can pick something up in store on the day. As a little bonus, you’ll receive 10% off any fabrics you buy during the class, so it’s the perfect opportunity to choose something you really love.
