We are super excited to announce that Sewcialising will be exhibiting at the Living North Christmas Fair at the York Race Course next week from Thursday 14th Nov till Sunday 17th Nov! Come and see us in the Ebor Suite at stand E29! This is a little different to us attending a specific ‘craft fair’ and is perhaps a little more risky but I was keen to try some other more local fairs this year to compare and to help get our name out there! We will have lots of lovely gifts for sale and are launching a few fun new things.....

So today, I thought I would share some before & after photos of the fabric shop as I think a lot of people may not quite realise what a transformation the place has gone through. We started with a damp & mouldy broken white box which was structurally unsound before it became what it is today!

We've all been waiting for Boris' announcement this evening, and I'm so pleased to finally have a date for when we can reopen our fabric shop in York!  I cannot wait for my children to return to school and for some normality to resume.  This lockdown has been quite stressful with homeschooling a 5 and 6 year old, and trying to juggle everything for the shop.. but the end is near.  Hopefully everyone can slowly but surely get the vaccination and we can start getting our lives back. I've been desperate to do some sewing, but I just haven't had the time...
