Join us at Sewcialising in York for a friendly, hands-on Beginner Machine Knitting Workshop!

In this welcoming introductory session, you’ll get to grips with the fundamentals of machine knitting using a standard domestic flat-bed knitting machine.

With step-by-step guidance, you’ll learn how to:

• Set up and operate the machine
• Cast on and cast off with confidence
• Experiment with simple stitch patterns
• Troubleshoot common problems
• Finish and care for your knitted creations

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have produced a selection of swatch samples and gained the confidence to continue exploring machine knitting at home. No experience is required - all materials and machines are provided.

Tea, coffee, and refreshments are included to keep you fuelled and inspired.

Duration: 3 hours
