Visiting York and had pre ordered hoop. First time in shop but delighted with service. Also bought some material and a few other bits and bobs. It's down the tiny lane where Barley Hall is so you need to search for it. Will definitely recommend and visit again next time I am in York. They do online orders as well.

I would recommend anyone to come along to this course. Made a cushion cover and pajama bottoms both of which are now in use. 🙂I am now dusting off the old sewing machine & searching out some easy patterns to sew.

With my eye sight the light on this makes things a lot easier!

I stumbled upon this cute shop by chance, just coming out of the museum in the courtyard and I had a lovely time browsing…. And picking up a skein of yarn I had been wanting to try for a long time! Excellent service too!

Just completed the 4 week Beginner Sewing evening course at Clifton Moor. In just this short time I made a cushion cover and pyjama bottoms with the help of Kathy our teacher. Recommend this course to anyone who wants to try machine sewing for the first time or go back to sewing after a long gap.

Really enjoyed spending a couple of hours getting to grips with a sewing machine and making a tote bag (which came out better than I thought! ) in the lovely Sewcialising shop. Would recommend to anyone wanting to learn!

Very relaxing, friendly people and easy to do. It was a lovely way to spend 2 hours but, for me, it needed to be longer.

I am a complete beginner and was amazed at how much I learned in my first session.

Bought this course for my wife's early Christmas present as she makes loads of things in fabric but never clothes and she really wanted to learn how to make some clothes so she can make things for her grandaughter (although I think this is just the excuse to get started!) Anyway she loved it and found the course and trainer excellent and proudly came home with a couple of finished garments!

The one I ordered was temporarily unavailable as the shop was awaiting restocking but they gave me the option to choose an alternative or wait- I am delighted with the alternative, such great service from the shop too
