Mending Workshop
Learn how to mend your clothes
Come and learn how to mend your clothes! Got a hole in your sock, a tear in a shirt or a pull in your knitwear? Bring it along and you can learn how to fix it with either a visible or invisible mending technique in this 2 hour session.
You'll learn how to use hand techniques such as:
Boro/Sashiko embroidery
Darning
Adding a fabric patch
Embroidery
Don’t worry if you don’t have something to mend, materials are provided for you to just learn the techniques. Please note all the techniques we will cover will be hand stitching- no sewing machines will be used.
Tea, coffee and refreshments included.
